The program assumed that you wanted to Convert From one (1) degree Celsius since you did not enter a number before degrees Celsius.  If you meant to Convert From zero (0) degrees Celsius, then you must enter the zero as in 0 degrees Celsius.  Whenever you Convert From some measurement and you do not enter an amount, the program assumes that you want to convert one of them to something else.
